Tapo
Tapo is a short mobile game I've been working on in my free time. Once I gained experience in Unity at Kinetic Vision, I decided I would try my hand at making my own game. After much consideration, I figured a short mobile game would be my best option, both for ease of use and for sharing purposes, as it would allow me to share the game with others relatively cheaply.
The game is still a work in progress currently, but I hope to have the game finished by the end of April 2017, at least as finished as I'd like to make it. Once this game is done, I'll begin teaching myself how to work with other aspects of game design, such as visual asset creation, texture development, and music generation. |
Tech Olympics
Every year I work as a volunteer for the Tech Olympics, held in the Millenium Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati. The Tech Olympics are a high school outreach event sponsored by companies in Cincinnati meant to inspire students to pursue a career in a computer industry, including web design and development, software engineering, and IT. Companies in the Cincinnati area give talks to the students and host fun events for them as well.
There, I tend to work as security for the organization to ensure that everyone involved remains safe and within the guidelines of the event. I also get to interact with students and discuss various aspects of Computer Science with them, answering any questions they have that are within my realm of knowledge.

Astronomy Club
For my sophomore year of College I was the President of the UC Astronomy Club. During this time I was able to plan a variety of events for students, including movie nights and star gazes. I also organized club meetings and prepared materials for each meeting, acquiring both food and setting up each of the presentations.
